Wherever you are in this world

    Happy Father’s Day
    Xanga

    FathersDay_2006

Desktops for Guys is not what I am best at.  I have a few I hope lean towards guy related interests as  some of my favorite Xangans are Guys.

All of the work in the graphics is my own.  I am using photos taken by friends from a photo group.

    RSB_MountainScene_Ex

Smaller than the original but I thought you might like to see where the desktops originated from.  I believe this is a scene in Canada.

    RSB_MountainScene-1_5-28-2006

One of my renditions.  Click on the desktop graphics for 800 x 600.  This one is a bit on the psychedelic side but I liked it.  1024 x 768

    NightLife_Ex

This photo was taken in Australia.  The graphics member who supplied it said dress it up so I did.

    NightLife_RSB-1

800 x 600, a night life variation.  Great for reminders of your out late drinking days or maybe you still go out late and dance all night long.
    1024 x 768

    FalkirkWheelCh_Ex

This is Scotland and it is a masterpiece of modern machinery, called the Falkirk Wheel.  Here is a link to read about it, CLICK HERE

    FalkirkWheel_TBCh_RSBGrEnhance-1

    800 x 600 in my version  and 1024 x 768

    ChevyNomad_Ex

This mess lives in Australia but I understand it will look new once again.

    ChevyNomadSoftPl-1

800 x 600, Grab this desktop if you are into demolition derby.  Bring it up by clicking the link and you will see its not a bad desktop but graphically interesting and it looks just like the cars at the derby.  1024 x 768

    ChevyNomad_RSB-DkEnRes-1

800 x 600, I am not a car person.  Our challenge was to graphically restore this Chevy Nomad.  Not too bad for someone who knows nothing about cars.  1024 x 768

    BermudaNights_Ex

This is a scene in Bermuda

    BermudaNights_TBCh_RSBGraphics-1

800 x 600 click the pic.  I pictured a night like this in Bermuda and have used this on my desktop for a feeling of tranquility.  If you would like to lounge in Bermuda, I can assure you this desktop has that lounging, peaceful feel and will carry you to Bermuda in a wink of an eye.  You deserve it.  1024 x 768

    EnglishCottageTBCh_RSBGraphics-1

800 x 600, click on the pic.  Some of you love to garden so an English cottage supplied by my friend who also supplied the Bermuda photo.  I made all of the tubes used from photos he took in his own garden.  Aren’t the Clematis beautiful?  The cottage is in an area of England and it is centuries old.  1024 x 768

I hope I covered bases enough to satisfy interests.  If not, I’ll try harder the next time.

    Happy Fathers Day Xanga Guys,

    Becca

    I’m impressed by your work.

  • These are terrific, Becca! I showed them to my son. He loved them too. He thought what you did with the car was awesome.

My daughter and your granddaughter are becoming xanga pals.

  • Such a treat as usual…Happy Father’s Day also seems to be a bit of Happy Mother’s Day

How is everything with you?  I’ve missed you.

  • I am stunned! I cannot even imagine how you restored that chevy. I loved the graphic you did of it. It is evident that you could easily support both you and John doin this. Congratulations!

This time last year we were IMing like mad. I saved every last one.

some of my favorites on xanga are guys too.

(But I really love my gal-pals like you!)

  • hey sweety hope you and your have a great weekend God Bless

    HAPPY 4 of JULY

  • Hi Becca, just stopping by and seeing how you are.

  • I’m sorry that your goldfish died.  That’s how it is with fish, though.  Some fish have very short lives, and then some live for years.  I don’t think that you’re supposed to mix goldfish with other fish.  My husband has had an aquarium since we’ve been married (36 years), now.  We mainly have tropical fish, but not the saltwater kind.  We now have some Neon Tretras that have red and yellow fins with red and black tails.  We also have a gold and black catfish that likes to hang around sucking on the sides and bottom of the tank.

  • I’ve been tryingto figure out how to comment you for a while now!

I’m hoping someone can answer me on my question today.

And thanks also for inviting me to the blogring!

  • Well, I’ll come visit as often as I can, but I sure wish I could leave you a comment once in awhile even if you can’t comment back. There are things that just need to be commented on sometimes.

I wrote a poem for Terry a few blogs back. Nice to know he was a famous poet somewhere….
    Miss him .
