When I was small, the days, weeks, months didn’t pass fast enough. I can recall wishing them away hoping graduation day would come around more quickly and I would be grown! An adult!! Now, it all goes much too fast and the festive winter season seems to bypass the rest of the year and nearly always be here on top of me. I love the Christmas season but the stores begin Christmas even before Halloween and some of the fun, the spiritual feel of the moments are lessoned.
Bypassing what forcibly surrounds us and moving on to the moment TOMORROW is a special day, always for our family and we hope for yours. Our family may be spread out and we may not be together but we do know we are thankful for each other. Phone calls are made, recipes are shared and stories are told and new memories are made. We are among the priviledged if we are able to say thank you with a whispered prayer or a shout of thankful praise. God bless us all.
Stay well and travel safely.

We all make mistakes … The OBama Ride
Crossword / Scrabble players, a five letter word for mistake beginning with and ending with OBAMA?
AN EDIT I was thrilled with this patriotic display. I hope you are too. WATCH THE VIDEO If you can’t bring it in see it on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEjRg2yyCKo&feature=related
We all make mistakes, I have and I expect I’ll make a lot more. It’s okay, we are, after all, human. The thing is, how many times can you be hit in the head, by a mistake, before you notice you’re being hit? Cutting your losses by looking a mistake in the face, doing an about face and castrating the mistake, seems to me, would be the smartest of moves. Here are links to some really good editorials, all concerning the man in the oval office. Look the titles over then follow and read a few, if for nothing else but pure entertainment.
This WIKIPEDIA LINK lists political and otherwise travels and most have a link that defines pertinent info for the particular trip.
To dispel rumors per vacation days this information is worth reading: http://www.factcheck.org/2010/01/president-obamas-vacation-days/
Here is a possible pending trip with two links for info: LAVISH INDIA TRIP PLANS and more detailed political information on the trip HERE.
LINKS to EDITORIALS worth reading.
This is an important read: Economist on Obama: The Most destructive Force Against The American Economy Today
Now, the list from The American Spectator.org NEWEST FIRST and the oldest begins the week of his inauguration so a storyline from beginning to now.

ActForAmerica.org and More
Are you aware of this site?, ActForAmerica.org I did the print screen with the drop down menu so you can discover the CURRENT ISSUES link. See it HERE>>> http://www.actforamerica.org/index.php/learn/current-issues AND the page is filled with real concerns we probably all have in the back of our minds but that are possibly hidden under mountains of undeserved guilt that exposes itself as political correctness that may in the end drown us all in its tears.
The front page of ACT is where the most current article is. Now, the email archives is filled with relevant information all nicely titled. Here, out of 21 pages of archives, are links to a sampling, the most recent 20 email articles. update, that will teach me to copy and paste then to not check the links. The below links are now fixed and hopefully I have learned my lesson. Becca

An article from the NEW YORK POST. Titled “MORE MOSQUE REVELATIONS“ read it HERE: http://www.newyorkpost.com/p/news/opinion/editorials/more_mosque_revelations_yMtNnRzphiKKAGJQAksoQN. TOMORROW BEING the 9th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the New York Post article should jump start your day.
ANOTHER SITE THAT MAY INTEREST YOU, AMERICANS for TAX REFORM. The front page is HERE: http://www.atr.org/index.php?content=home but what I want you to read is here >>>: http://www.atr.org/six-months-untilbr-largest-tax-hikes-a5171 Believe me when I say, I don’t think any country can survive without the taxation of it’s citizens as taxes are what pay for necessities we all enjoy like the roads we travel everyday, bridges and all important national parks and more. The key word though is FAIR TAX and honest use of tax dollars. I think it is long overdue to fix the problems/outright stealing from the bank account we pay into for self serving pay raises for little accomplished works and this all happily taken care of in the oft hidden privacy of House and Senate walls of our self righteous government who has proved more than a single time during this administration that it cares little or nothing for the desires of the people or the people themselves.
From Lee Iacocca’s book “Where Have All the Leaders Gone“: The subtitle “Test of a Leader” found in Chapter 1 page 5 – 10 of the hardbound edition, the 9 C’s, Curiosity, Creativity, Communicative, filled with Character, Courageous, has Conviction, Charisma, Competent and filled with Common Sense are in regards to criteria you should look for in a candidate for office. Buy the book new or used at most book stores or borrow it from your local library. I would call the 9 Cs a good method to use for your political choices but one not put to use by most of us in the last election.
Fly some flags tomorrow people. Contrary to what some people think, displaying our colors while bolstering our courage to help in the defete of extremist islam is not islamaphobia and planning your part of a fix in government is not treason.
Until the next time,

An older article, Feb 16, 2010, with an even older video to confuse but watch the video and then read the article as it is very important to get the gist of how islam works against existing laws READ THIS CAREFULLY as more than one named terrorist is in the article: London’s islamic radicals speak out

A MUST READ titled: The document that should stop the Islamic “Victory Mosque”. I had not heard of this until doing some searching. Dated August 23, 2010, and it may disappear from this page http://homelandsecurityus.com/ so the print page link: http://homelandsecurityus.com/archives/4022/print/ It’s a short article. You really should read it. Then, the link to ”an explanatory memorandum” mentioned, the top half is in Arabic so scroll down for the English translation. You can read it all, 18 pages, or read the highlighted text, http://www.scribd.com/doc/36439962/Trial-of-the-United-States-vs-The-Holy-Land-Foundation-et-al. So, clean the sleep from your eyes and the wax from your ears. It doesn’t get much plainer than this.

APPROACHING, One baby step at a time and poof, no more of the freedoms fought for, died for by grandfathers, fathers, sons, daughters. Freedoms we have cherished so much as a part of our lives, must not be being cherished anymore. If they were, would we be allowing this to happen?
A current video dated Sept. 4, 2010 and one everyone should see per islam taking over the streets of Paris, ILLEGALLY and the local authorities afraid to crack down on the activity. POLITICAL CORRECTNESS, WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP… and what a mess it has made of too many aspects of our lives.
An essay you should read regarding the video above and more. It’s an excellent read. See it here: http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/27343
Sept. 2, 2010, The world is filled with information being ignored, to it’s peril. The United States and many of its citizens are like the proverbial Ostrich with heads hidden in the sand. I don’t argue well but I do read and to think there are people who have lived the terrors, writing about them, giving us all the information we should be making judgments from, instead of judgment calls from left wing, liberal, I don’t see or hear a thing, attitudes amazes me.

545 People
As I normally vote Republican, I have ignored the fact the content is directed at Republicans and so view the article as a whole looking at those who hold office as holders of a mishandled trust. Republican and Democrat alike appear to be less interested in taking care of the people’s business than taking care of their personal interests and how much money they can scam before leaving office. I for one would like the administration that now holds office all thrown out and the president impeached as he will walk away with a lifetime of secure benefit paid for by our tax money and I feel he deserves that money much less than I do myself.
ACCORDING TO SNOPES, THIS ARTICLE BEING PASSED IN EMAILS IS PROPERLY CREDITED. http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/reese.asp
545 People by Charlie Reese
originally written in 1995Politicians, as I have often said, are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.Everything on the Republican contract is a problem created by Congress. Too much bureaucracy? Blame Congress. Too many rules?
Blame Congress. Unjust tax laws? Congress wrote them.
Out-of-control bureaucracy? Congress authorizes everything bureaucracies do. Americans dying in Third World rat holes on stupid U.N. missions? Congress allows it. The annual deficits?
Congress votes for them. The $4 trillion plus debt? Congress created it.
To put it into perspective just remember that 100 percent of the power of the federal government comes from the U.S. Constitution. If it’s not in the Constitution, it’s not authorized.
Then read your Constitution. All 100 percent of the power of the federal government is invested solely in
545 individual human beings. That’s all. Of260 million Americans, only 545 of them wield100 percent of the power of the federal government. That’s 435 members of the U.S. House,
100 senators, one president and nine Supreme Court justices. Anything involving government that is wrong is100 percent their fault.I exclude the vice president because constitutionally he has no power except to preside over the Senate and to vote only in the case of a tie. I exclude the Federal Reserve because Congress created it and all its power is power Congress delegated to it and could withdraw anytime it chooses to do so. In fact, all the power exercised by the 3 million or so other federal employees is power delegated from the 545.
All bureaucracies are created by Congress or by executive order of the president. All are financed and staffed by Congress. All enforce laws passed by Congress.
All operate under procedures authorized by Congress. That’s why all complaints and protests should be properly directed at Congress, not at the individual agencies.
You don’t like the IRS? Go see Congress. You think the Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms agency is running amok? Go see Congress.
Congress is the originator of all government problems and is also the only remedy available. That’s why, of course, politicians go to such extraordinary lengths and employ world-class sophistry to make you think they are not responsible. Anytime a congressman pretends to be outraged by something a federal bureaucrat does, he is in fact engaging in one big massive con job. No federal employee can act at all except to enforce laws passed by Congress and to employ procedures authorized by Congress either explicitly or implicitly.
Partisans on both sides like to blame presidents for deficits, but all deficits are congressional deficits. The president may, by custom, recommend a budget, but it carries no legal weight. Only Congress is authorized by the Constitution to authorize and appropriate and to levy taxes. That’s what the federal budget consists of: expenditures authorized, funds appropriated and taxes levied.
Both Democrats and Republicans mislead the public. For
40 years Democrats had majorities and could have at any time balanced the budget if they had chosen to do so. Republicans now have majorities and could, if they choose, pass a balanced budget this year. Every president, Democrat or Republican, could have vetoed appropriations bills that did not make up a balanced budget. Every president could have recommended a balanced budget. None has done either. We have annual deficits and a huge federal debt because that’s what majorities in Congress and presidents in the White House wanted. We have troops in various Third World rat holes because Congress and the president want them there.
Don’t be conned. Don’t let them escape responsibility. We simply have to sort through
260 million people until we find 545 who will act responsibly.Origins: Journalist Charley Reese (now retired) was part of the Orlando Sentinel‘s staff for three decades between
1971-2001, during which time he (among other duties) penned a thrice-weekly column which was distributed to other newspapers nationwide by King Features Syndicate. During the 1980s Reese wrote the first version of an editorial opining that545 people (i.e., the President of the United States, plus all the members of Congress and the Supreme Court) “are directly, legally, morally and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country,” and he has amended, updated, and republished that piece several times since then. The version cited above is taken from the7 March 1995 edition of the Orlando Sentinel, where it ran under the title “Looking for Someone to Blame? Congress Is a Good Place to Start.”By way of comparison, here is another version of Reese’s piece, as it appeared in 1985:
Politician are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.Have you ever wondered why, if both the Democrats and Republicans are against deficits, we have deficits? Have you ever wondered why if all politicians are against inflation and high taxes, we have inflation and high taxes?
You and I don’t propose a federal budget. The president does. You and I don’t have Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does. You and I don’t write the tax code. Congress does. You and I don’t set fiscal policy. Congress does. You and I don’t control monetary policy. The Federal Reserve Bank does.
One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president and nine Supreme Court
justices — 545 human beings out of235 million — are directly, legally, morally and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.I excused the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to
provide a sound currency to a federally chartered by private central bank.
I exclude all of the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don’t care if they offer a politician
$1 million in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it.No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislators’ responsibility to determine how he votes.
Don’t you see the con game that is played on the people by the politicians? Those
545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party. What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of Tip
O’Neill, who stood up and criticized Ronald Reagan for creating deficits. The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it. The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating appropriations and taxes.
Those 545 people and they alone are responsible. They and they alone should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses — provided they have the gumption to manage their own employees.
In 2008, Reese’s editorial was updated with some topical political references (e.g., Nancy Pelosi’s name in place of Tip O’Neill’s; the Army and Marines listed as being in Iraq rather than on “U.N. Missions”) and circulated via
e-mail under the title “The545 People Responsible for America’s Woes” (or just“545 People), often with additional material not written by Reese himself tacked onto the beginning or end of the article.SOME OF WHAT WE ARE TAXED FOR:

August 26, 2010 A You Tube you will get a lot from if nothing else, a laugh.
An oldie that reflects many of our moods.
Over two thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel, “Pick up your shovels, climb on your asses and camels and I will lead you to the Promised Land.”
Nearly 75 years ago Welfare was introduced and Roosevelt said, “Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a Camel, this is the Promised Land.”
Now Obama has stolen our shovels, taxed our asses, raised the price of Camels, and mortgaged the Promised Land!I was so depressed thinking about the Health Care Plans, the economy, war, lost jobs, savings, Social Security, retirement funds, etc. . . I called the suicide hotline last night. I reached the call center in Pakistan and told them I was suicidal. They got all excited and wanted to know if I could drive a truck.

PEOPLE, these things are happening here in the United States and everyone needs to be aware. Muslim communities are growing and with them they are bringing sharia. Muslims are not only involved but highly active in our political system (in this video a clear statement is made, “I am one of them”) and groups are making demands sharia be legalized here, in the United States. Is it what you want for your children and grandchildren?

I have been doing a lot of reading of books and watching of movies to educate myself more on radical Islam and sharia law. The books and movies are by people who have lived the situations or researched extensively. Here is a list and links to books and one movie, concerning the evils of islam, I have read and watched this summer. Citizens of America, who care about the future of America and the generations to come, would do well to educate themselves more on the real intent of islam. Well meaning people are now, and have been, trying to alert us of the dangers for a very long time. If you feel sympathies toward the islamic systems I hope you will rethink what you think you know and do some serious reading and watching.

YouTubes, Articles, Questions, very few answers
It’s been a long time since I wrote anything besides holiday wishes. I’ve been holding a lot in but I’ve been impressed, lately, with some people and things I decided to share.
YouTube video about a painting and an artist, Jon McNaughton. His website is http://www.mcnaughtonart.com/ where a beautiful variety of his art can be found. This video pertains to a beautiful piece of religious / political painting and it is one I wish I could purchase because the soul of the piece speaks to my own thoughts per conditions of our country, the U.S.A. and the privacy of my own spirituality.
Article: I received an email, also impressive so I did some Internet digging to make sure of the source. The man who wrote the article is Canadian and he wrote his personal feelings, impressions of where we are headed as a country. His name: Howard Galganov and his site address: http://www.galganov.com/ The particular article “I Told You So“ is located here > http://www.galganov.com/editorials.asp?ID=1147 < and is older but not ancient, dated July 23, 2009.After reading his views which most of you will recognize I agree with, I had to ask myself the question is he correct in his assumption / statement per, ” two things they will NEVER do“. As the article is not mine I give you the link to the read and if you are angry enough with me and my views, read it so you can become even moreso. I have no intention of argument back and forth but anyone is most welcome to post into my comments whatever opinion it is they have. I won’t even delete nastiness as I enjoy knowing others who read are viewing the content type some people’s minds have to offer. I’m not the quickest in an argument but have to say I hope Mr. Galganov is incorrect. Nothing rights itself if no one admits to being wrong so things can get back on track and our track needs some getting back to. Anyone who knows me knows I am more than willing to admit I am wrong if I believe I am and I do a lot of soul searching of myself, often. I hope others feel the same, if they have an about face in an opinion. No one is throwing anything anywhere, only expressing a hope that most people are bigger than holding on to a wrong instead or doing what they can to fix it.Another article written in February 09, 2009 by Star Parker, an excellent read from a young black American woman who feels close to the political scheme of things and is emotional about how they are going. See the article she wrote here: http://www.gopusa.com/commentary/sparker/2009/sp_02091.shtmlThe oil rig blow out, I’m sick about it and the destruction to the ocean, to ocean life, to the shore birds, to the dunes and beaches, to local tourist business that will be lost affecting not only the missed fun for the tourists but possible ruin of whole communities who depend on tourist trade for their sustained livlihoods. I have real emotional problems with the fact that highly efficient skimmers etc were offered for our use by other countries but the offers were turned down, and, FOR WHAT REASON???Israel: I have real problems with the mindsets of those who are ready to hang a nation who has been, from the beginning, our staunchest friend, politically and otherwise. Israels being looked at as a monster for doing what any country would have done, defend a blockade the whole world knew was there and the reasons they were there, makes next to no common sense to me especially as there was another entrance point that was open to those on the boat and their aid. Where is the intelligence I thought was within nations and individuals who I believed were so much wiser and who would have done exactly the same but will turn thumbs down when Israel does what it announced to the world it would do if the attempt was made to run their blockade. I think the blockade runners got exactly what they asked for and it’s just like the triksie runners of the Turkish boat to pull the stunt they pulled to deliberately make Israel look worse than she should have looked. Another view of suicidal idiots similar to those who strap bombs on their own children. Does anyone know what Israel looks like next to her giant neighbors who could if they wanted, make all of this go away but they are so filled with hatred for the tiny Jewish nation they are hell bent on making the oldest of prophecies come nearer to the actualities of today. Who knew we may in truth be soon facing the Tribulation predicted thousands of years ago. Very scary in my mind is what it is. Which leads me to another Editorial by Howard Galganov dated May 22, 2010, “I am Israel“, see it here http://www.galganov.com/editorials/5-22-2010/barack-obama-and-israel/i-am-israel/.The Jerusalem Prayer Team: If you would like to know more about what is going on in Israel or would like to support their efforts, go here: http://jerusalemprayerteam.org/Two Important YouTube videos for your viewing:Two books that should be purchased and read by Nonie Darwish. See her profile at Wikipedia.com http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nonie_Darwish. She also heads this site FORMER MUSLIMS UNITED where you will discover invaluable information that will, hopefully, remove some heads from the sand. She has written two books both of which can be purchased at Amazon.com2- Now They Call Me Infidel: Why I Renounced Jihad for America, Israel, and the War on Terror [Hardcover]Geert Wilders, two short, tremendously interesting articles pertaining to Islam, from him. His home page is: http://www.geertwilders.nl/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1 Here is a speech he gave in New York http://www.legal-project.org/article/192 andanother at the United Nations: http://www.geertwilders.nl/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1535&Itemid=1 I am in hopes of buying his politically charged movie “Fitna” but have not come up with it yet. His life is endangered because of his making this particular film.Is their any real understanding by the citizens of the United States per why states within the United States are utilizing their right to be soverign? Give a really good look at the photos on this page: http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread585949/pg1Another YouTube for you. I loved this one and can’t imagine anyone in the intelligencia of Xanga not understanding the implications of this video. And there is more, but I’ve released enough acid into my stomach because of the digging for these things to put up. I may add a little here and there. Is it better to grow old and have your mind die before your body or is it better to have your body give out but your mind be retained? Is it possible to grow old and have your mind and your body cease to function but your spirituality be saved?Becca -

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
God rest ye merry, gentlemen
Let nothing you dismay
Remember, Christ, our Saviour
Was born on Christmas day
To save us all from Satan’s power
When we were gone astray
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
In Bethlehem, in Israel,
This blessed Babe was born
And laid within a manger
Upon this blessed morn
The which His Mother Mary
Did nothing take in scorn
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
From God our Heavenly Father
A blessed Angel came;
And unto certain Shepherds
Brought tidings of the same:
How that in Bethlehem was born
The Son of God by Name.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
“Fear not then,” said the Angel,
“Let nothing you affright,
This day is born a Saviour
Of a pure Virgin bright,
To free all those who trust in Him
From Satan’s power and might.”
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
The shepherds at those tidings
Rejoiced much in mind,
And left their flocks a-feeding
In tempest, storm and wind:
And went to Bethlehem straightway
The Son of God to find.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
And when they came to Bethlehem
Where our dear Saviour lay,
They found Him in a manger,
Where oxen feed on hay;
His Mother Mary kneeling down,
Unto the Lord did pray.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
Now to the Lord sing praises,
All you within this place,
And with true love and brotherhood
Each other now embrace;
This holy tide of Christmas
All other doth deface.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy…Peace to Everyone,…
