it is a good deal. snatched that one up…
Thanks for the info. Becca. It will be very good for me as the exchange rate is biased in favour of us Brits ! I have to get Julie to pay mine as Xanga doesn’t accept my debit card so I’ll get her to pay soon. ( BTW I do reimburse her

Hi. I still haven’t figured this one out. What extra benefits do you get with this lifetime plan? What these premium lifetimers do that other Xangans can’t do?
Becca, thank you for your insight about my upcoming “plans” and for the link. I’ve only just begun to dig into the wealth of wikipedia and other sites for information about what I’m doing.
I love the idea of lifetime premium too.
Have a great summer, and stay tuned for more updates as I think thru my fingertips!
Thanks Becca…I just put my money down…after 4 years, Xanga will be free for me. Yay!
Thanks, Becca. I just finished paying for Sugar’s care which was a total of $681. I think I will have to pass on this one. However, if I was as young as you, I would be foolish not to find the one hundred. …..LOL.

Hi Becca,
I am finding blogging to be very theraputic – and additcing! I will not be posting my best, though. I am a cross stitch designer, and some of my top selling work has been stolen and sold on the internet. Upsets my stomach to think about it
Anyway, I look forward to being a part of your group!
Thank you for accepting me into your photo graphics ring

Hello again. I just found your comment on my photo page – thank you for all the nice comments you have left for me
I draw designs on sheet metal, and my boyfriend cuts them out with a torch, or welds things together for me, etc. Then I decorate them
If you do cross stitch and like kokopelli’s, you may be familiar with my border samplers
Dear Becca,
I’m interested in the Lifetime account, but I haven’t signed up yet. It’s a good deal no matter how you slice it, because a regular subscription runs about 25 dollars a year, so 100 dollars is four years. Somebody told me the “lifetime account’ only lasts about 225 months or 18 and 3/4 years. I always write about how our websites should remain our “legacies”. I have really worked to transcribe all of my poems to my ElectricPoetry website, for instance, but know that as soon as I stop paying the monthly fee for the website, that it will disappear into cyberspace. (Although there are “archival” sites on the internet where I can find “old sites’ which have disappeared, but that takes a bit of sleuthing skills.
I wonder if I bought a Lifetime account on Xanga and then died. Would my site then disappear after 18-3/4 years? Obviously, “lifetime” ends at death.
But I still think it would be neat to think that our websites would stick around as legacies for future readers.

To baldmike2004 ryc:
I discussed this question with Xanga before I purchased Terry’s sites (LordPineapple and The-Clowne_from_Clown). What I was told at that time was they would stay here untouched and yes, lifetime seems to have a limited number of months. I actually have some questions I want to speak with Xanga about per the memberships for life. I do think the lifetime membership is a good deal if they live up to their end of the bargain. What I wonder most about is if the site would be sold to others, sort of one of those hostile take-over things you read about. My lifetime reads that my expiration date is 4/6/2025. I guess they figure me to be dead and gone by that time and from my own personal knowledge, I’d say they are probably right. Another personal observation, I’d like them to extend it at least another 10 or 15 years. It might bring me some luck.
